New York Life Awards Patricia Gracia For Her Work in the Latino Community
SANTA CLARITA, CA. It wasn’t enough owning a Hispanic advertising agency, Power Media Group, for eleven years, so Patricia Gracia wanted to give back to the community through the creation of a business incubator, nonprofit 501 c3 Power Woman Business Center. Her dedication is being awarded through New York Life’s Community Leadership Award “in recognition of unwavering support and dedication in the Latino community”. She will receive the award today at “Women in Business Networking Event” which will be hosted by “Office Slice” and New York Life. This is an honor for Patricia, as she continues to focus on bringing new businesses to our economy through the center’s members.

A 501C3 nonprofit organization, Power Woman Business Center was founded by Patricia and Tony Gracia, with the mission to create jobs in order to stimulate our recovering economy. The organization serves as an incubator for entrepreneurs who lack the necessary resources in successfully creating a business. Established in the Santa Clarita Valley Enterprise Zone, the PWBC facility provides office equipment such as cubicles, computers, fax machines, telephones, Internet, along with a conference room and even a fully stocked kitchen
An entrepreneur’s ideal launch pad, PWBC donates countless hours to overseeing the development and success of each business that comes through the organization. The organization provides training and leadership seminars, business planning and networking strategies to any of its members. It is this kind of dedication, along with community and board member support, that allows the program to exist.
