Patricia Gracia on Univision - Finanzas Plan Prosperidad!

UNIVISION NATIONAL NEWS INTERVIEWS PATRICIA GRACIA!!!

“Patricia was chosen as an expert in area of entrepreneurism and gives her five tips on becoming a successful business owner.” SANTA CLARITA, CA. Nonprofit 501 c3 Power Woman Business Center contributes to the well-being and recovery of the United States economy. Patricia Gracia, founder of PWBC, is no stranger to overcoming obstacles and after successfully launching a business of her own over ten years ago, she is now dedicated to helping others achieve the same success. Members of Power Woman Business Center are educated on the steps they need to take when launching their own business. They are exposed to proper business and strategy planning, consultation and networking while using the facility and all its amenities.

Erika Artieda, owner of Hairtage Studio in Santa Clarita, expresses that through PWBC “I have been able to step out with my business and learn how to network.” Patricia’s five steps to successfully launching your business are: 1. To have extensive knowledge and experience within your business’ industry. 2. To legally register your business with the proper authorities. 3. To involve your business with organizations like the SBA that help small business owners. 4. To capitalize your business. 5. To always be at the forefront of cutting-edge technology.

PWBC is also a strong supporter of the Hispanic community and focuses on helping Hispanic entrepreneurs in the Santa Clarita Valley. “There are over 2 million Hispanic owned businesses here in the United States, which is 30% increase from the year before,” according to Our Valleys Magazine owner, Patsy Ayala. “What’s even better about is that more than 50% of those businesses are owned by women.” Our Valleys, a bilingual advertising concept, was incubated and launched as a magazine through PWBC. It serves as a marketing platform for local Santa Clarita and San Fernando Valley companies who want to target the Hispanic market. It, along with other businesses launched through PWBC, showcase the center’s knowledge for what works with our current economy. “Power Woman Business Center works hard to ensure that businesses incubated through the center do not reach a rapid ‘peak’ within the first two years of existence,” states Patricia. “With small businesses failing all too quickly because of a lack of resources and knowledge, I believe that this business incubator is the answer for all entrepreneurs.”

OUR VALLEY’S MAGAZINE CELEBRATES THEIR 2 YEAR ANNIVERSARY AS A SUCCESSFUL SANTA CLARITA VALLEY BUSINESS
“A multimedia advertising concept incubated at Power Woman Business Center, Our Valleys Magazine has gone on to become a success story for entrepreneurs everywhere.”
SANTA CLARITA, CA.  With over 100 guests in attendance, Our Valley’s magazine (www.ourvalleys.net), celebrated the 2-year anniversary of their inception at the Power Woman Business Center (www.powerwomanbc.org) headquarters.    Described as the “perfect mix of business and celebration”, the business mixer provided live entertainment, food, music, raffles and plenty of interaction with local business owners.  This is extraordinary event not only celebrated the magazine’s achievements but also put the spotlight on the diversity in the local businesses of Santa Clarita that it advertises for.

Among those in attendance were esteemed community leaders  Frank Avila, Santa Clarita assistant city manager; Gloria Mercado-Fortine, board member of William S. Hart High School District; Bruce Fortine, board of trustee, College of the Canyons; Isaac Barcelona with Senator Knight’s office; and Anna Frutos-Sanchez, public affairs region manager for Southern California Edison.  As Frutos-Sanchez stated, “The event was very successful in reaching out to and celebrating our Latino businesses.”
Adding to the experience were local food sponsors California Bakery and Café, Tequila 88, Reyes Winery, Taco Bar Catering, Cheers at All Corked Up and Persia Restaurant.  “Each sponsor was able to showcase the quality of their products while providing a taste of the establishments that make Santa Clarita the great city that it is,” said Julio Del Rio, Our Valley’s magazine co-founder.   “SOS Entertainment provided all the lighting and sound, as well as a big screen for Our Valley’s clients to see their brand displayed throughout the night.”

Our Valley’s magazine is a multimedia bilingual advertising and networking concept created to help bridge the gap between local businesses and the Hispanic market.  The concept was created and incubated at the Power Woman Business Center, a 501 c3 nonprofit organization based out of Santa Clarita Valley.  From there, the magazine went on to achieve success and was recently awarded as “New Business of the Year 2011” by the Santa Clarita Valley Latino Chamber of Commerce.  PWBC founder, Patricia Gracia, describes the magazine as “the answer to our community’s increasing awareness of our local Hispanic community.  They are helping the economy by providing a means to generate more business through bilingual advertising.”

Mexican Superstar Laura Flores Continues Being the Image for Primor!

Mexican Superstar Laura Flores to Continue Being the Image for Primor

Primor is not just a company to help an individual make money…it is a company to help the country rebuild its economy.

Santa Clarita, CA.  As part of an ongoing campaign, enterprise company Primor, a Creativa Interior brand (www.primor.com), is reinforcing their seven-year relationship with Mexican actress Laura Flores, as they continue to expand into the future with multiple points of distribution throughout the United States.

Flores has been featured in 14 seasons of the company’s bi-yearly catalog campaigns as well as numerous national Hispanic media campaigns.  Having her as the image of Primor allows the company to project cultural relevancy as well as continue helping individuals become successful and financially independent.

As a result of their 7+ year relationship with Hispanic advertising/PR agency Power Media Group (www.powermediagroup.com), innovative strategies and proven effective marketing is what makes Primor a key player in tapping into the $1.3 trillion dollar Hispanic buying power in the U.S.  Appealing to a technologically driven society, they are collaborating with PMG to launch their own mobile application.

According to a July 2012 study conducted by comScore Mobile Matrix, four out of five smartphone owners shop on their device.  With a custom mobile app, Primor’s customers can receive members-only coupons, important notifications, have instant access to the company through one-touch calling, GPS, etc.

Primor’s products include bedding essentials, bath and kitchen, and curtains and blankets.
They provide sales-through-catalog for individuals seeking financial independence and are focused on benefiting the economy by creating business opportunities. Primor has helped thousands of Hispanic families in the last few years and, despite difficult economic times, these families were able to succeed and maintain financial independence.  Primor was and is the best option for the unemployed.

Juan Carlos Lozano, Creativa Primor CEO said, "Our company’s integrity does not allow us to charge a membership fee.” With no prior investment or work experience needed to work with Primor, sales representatives are offered educational trainings, over-the-phone trainings and on-site trainings.

An extension to Primor, Vittorio D’ Firenze is an enterprise company that offers the latest fashion trends in Italian shoes, handbags and wallets. They also offer a system of sales through catalogs for entrepreneurs who are interested in becoming VDF sales representatives in order to gain experience in the world of fashion and, in the process, attain success and financial stability.  VDF products are made of the highest quality materials and are offered through VDF catalogs or online.

About Power Media Group
Power Media Group (PMG) is a public relations and advertising agency that specializes in creating and implementing all-inclusive Spanish language campaigns to help businesses build lasting relationships with the Latino community. In August 2012, PMG received U.S. Government Registrations & Certifications in four different categories (SBA, D&B, CCR, and ORCA) that will help advance the company's growth into the expanding bilingual business world. In addition to traditional campaigns, PMG utilizes innovative grassroots media campaigns that are designed to reach out to the rapidly growing Hispanic population that contributes more than $1.2 trillion to the U.S. economy annually.

The agency has won multiple awards and recognitions for its work including 2010 and 2011 ADDY Awards for Excellence in the Website Design and Local Radio categories. In addition, PMG won the United States’ Small Business Administration Minority Small Business Champion of the Year Award in 2010. The company's clients include Universal Music Latin and Creativa Interiors Primor. To further strengthen its commitment to the multicultural market, Patricia and Tony Gracia launched the Power Woman Business Center in 2011.  This non-profit 501 c3 organization serves as a business incubator that reaches out to entrepreneurs and helps them navigate the difficult economic environment.
