***All of California’s growth came from minorities, with Hispanics accounting for 71
percent of that minority growth.
***Hispanic Adults 18+ accounted for 77 percent of the Hispanic growth.
In San Diego County, the Hispanic population increased 32% from 2000.
***Our Hispanic population is now just under one million: 991,348, representing
32 percent of the total.
